New Stills of "Dangerous Liaisons"

The production company behind the Asian remake of “Dangerous Liaisons” released still shots today, featuring the three lead actors to build up interest for the film’s mainland release later this month.
The photos showcase the love triangle between the character Xie Yifan, portrayed by Jang Dong-gun, and two wealthy women played by Cecilia Cheung and Zhang Ziyi.
Cheung’s character is a social climber who uses her beauty to get her way, while Zhang is more innocent and represses her desires.
“Dangerous Liaisons” received positive reviews when it was screened at the recent Toronto International Film Festival.
It has been confirmed that the three leads in the film will walk down the red carpet at the 17th Pusan International Film Festival on October 4-13.
“Dangerous Liaisons” is scheduled to open in Chinese cinemas on September 27.

Cheung plays a socialite living in Shanghai in the 1930s. The film also features actress Zhang Ziyi as well as South Korean heartthrob Jang Dong-gun.
