











The film “The Bullet Vanishes” was released in China today (August 14).
Producer Yee Tung-Shing and director Law Chi-Leung helmed the film, which stars actors Nicholas Tse, Lau Ching Wan, Yang Mi, Jing Boran, Cheng Hei-Yi, Liu Kai Chi, Jiang Yiyan and Wu Gang.
“The Bullet Vanishes” takes place during the Republic of China period. A serial killer is on the loose in a factory, and some cursed “ghost bullets” lead two detectives played by Lau and Tse to the murderer.
Lau portrays a quiet and literate detective. “My role isn’t violent and doesn’t shoot gunfire.” Lau said, “He likes reading and writing.”
Tse plays a very passionate young police officer and his role may be “deceptive”, as described by Yee. “You can only know the real him by the end of the film.”
