Carina Lau and Qin Hailu to present Golden Horse Awards

The organizers of the Golden Horse Film Awards have announced that best actress winners Carina Lau and Qin Hailu will be on the stage as presenters at the Golden Horse Awards Ceremony to be held in Taiwan, according to the information on the official website of 48th Golden Horse Awards.
Previously, seven female actors, who took home best actress awards at various film festivals, had been publicized as making an appearance as award presenters at the event, including Sylvia Chang, Rene Liu, Angelica Lee, Deannie Yip, Hsu Chi, Tang Wei and Aoi Miyazaki. Golden Horse award winner Yang Kuei-Mei is also on the list, adding up to 10 best actresses in total, along with other guests who will hand out awards.
Notably, “Piano in a Factory” actress Qin Hailu has been nominated as best actress yet again. Ten Years ago, she snapped up the Golden Horse best actress award for her brilliant acting performance in the feature film “Durian Durian.” Three out of the five projects she has been involved in this year are competing in best film category, including “A Simple Life,” “Piano in a Factory” and “Return Ticket.”
The Golden Horse Awards Ceremony will be hosted in the city of Hsinchu, Taiwan, on November 26.
